CPH Bendigo projects were officially launched

The first projects for the Community Power Hub Bendigo were officially launched this morning by the Member for Bendigo West Maree Edwards and it was a media interviewing frenzy.

Businesses and individuals within the community are requested to “donate a panel” to kick start community owned renewable energy in Bendigo including supporting the Bendigo/Eaglehawk Badminton Association and Bendigo Table Tennis Association and 8 low incoming housing residents of a Community Housing Victoria Limited (http://chl.org.au/) property in Golden Square.

100 panels (or 30 kw costing about $30,000) are required for EACH of the two sites.

A huge thankyou to Empowering Eaglehawk who kicked off the donations in a huge way supporting their community with a whopping $10,000 donation! How great is that!
